Calgary Public Library has transformed its oldest branch into an arts & culture hub for Millennials. The Library is now home to the local literary organization, amateur musician ensembles, and a “CreateSpace” – an interactive experiment in community-building. It has also become a testing ground for new services: Millennials drop-in for “nerd out at the library” programs, browse the “book candy aisle,” and take home extra books from the “bonus hold” cabinet.
